WHY WEY

WEY means
We Empower You.

WEY began with one clear belief: every person can grow—and help another person grow in the process. Empowerment becomes lasting when opportunity turns into local leadership.

THE WEY PROMISE

Empowerment is not a hand-off.
It is a multiplier.

Select each step to explore how the original WEY promise moves from individual opportunity to community-led change.

WEY

Change begins with listening to what people and communities actually need.

01 / WHY WEY

Change becomes lasting when it travels through people.

WEY stands for We Empower You. The Foundation’s model is built on a simple progression: create opportunity, recognise ability, close skill gaps and support each person to empower others in their community.

Its programmes bring this idea to life across five connected priorities—hunger, health, hygiene, homes and education—with action informed by needs observed on the ground.

OUR DIRECTION

Local ability.
Lasting leadership.

MISSION

Find potential close to the ground.

Identify local talent, bridge skill gaps and support people to become ambassadors of development within their own communities.

VISION

Self-sustaining communities.

A cleaner, healthier and better-educated society where people have the confidence and opportunity to lead change.

COLLABORATION

Progress works in partnership.

WEY’s previously published network includes Live to Give India, Rotary International and Habitat for Humanity.
